Yoga Bio

Erin came to yoga in art school. She spent most of her time hunched over a pottery wheel or chipping away at plaster molds. She went to a yoga class for some relief. It was not love at first sight. The poses were awkward and uncomfortable. She couldn’t touch her toes or do the splits and felt out of place. But, something made her come back. Again and again.

That was 20 years ago. Since then, she has had the opportunity to study with amazing teachers here in the states, in India, and in Argentina. The practice has brought to her life all the things she would like to share with her students: Flexibility and strength in body and mind, increased awareness, and an overall sense of peace and purpose.

Her classes are challenging, adventurous, grounding, and playful. You will balance, invert, and bend. Her sequences are a creative mix of her background in Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Flow. There will always be an option for those who are ready to take their practice to the next level. Her playlists are personal. Each class offers its own theme.

Her overall goal is to help herself and others shed all of the things that hold them back in their lives and encourage them to find their own light and inspire them to let it shine.
